Haute Route Laundry

The Best of Deluxe

The Deluxe Haute Route is an upgraded version of the Chamonix to Zermatt Haute Route. While the actual route is very similar, there are a number of differences that really makes the Deluxe Haute Route, Deluxe.

Are the hotels different on the Deluxe Haute Route?

The Deluxe skips over dormitory-style mountain huts that usually take place back to back for two nights and are not accessible to luggage couriers. A client favorite on the Deluxe Haute Route is an added rest day in St. Luc at the luxurious Bella Tola Hotel and Spa.

What special inclusions are on the Deluxe Haute Route?

Upgraded 1st class rail ticket, as well as a spa treatment of your choice in St. Luc or Zermatt. Another addition trips starting in the 2020 season, is a Laundry Service in St. Luc at the Bella Tola Hotel.

What is a laundry service?

Each room will receive a bag to fill with as many pieces of laundry as they can fit. The size of the bag is 20 inches by 16 inches. The Hotel Bella Tola will launder the bag of clothing during your stay in St. Luc, it will be ready the night before departure the next day.

Why is laundry service so great?

When you are trying to decide what to wear for your day of hiking, lack of clean clothes won’t be an issue. Many hikers wash in sinks of hotels along the route, this can leave clothes crusty and wet if they don’t dry out all of the way. But with a built-in laundry service on the Deluxe Haute Route half way through the trek you won’t have to wash anything by hand!
