After arrival at the Venice airport, a shuttle will take you to your 4-star hotel in the heart of the alpine resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo. Evening and dinner in Cortina d'Ampezzo. D
Today's excursion will take you to the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo, one of the most well-known group of peaks in the Alps. Dinner and the evening will be spent in Cortina. BD.
Today you'll hike in the Sennes natural park before returning to Cortina d'Ampezzo. Be sure to pick up a souvenir in this cute village before heading out the next morning. BD.
A gentle ascent through forests with pretty views leads us to the open meadows of Passo Giau, dominated by the spectacular Nuvolau offering commanding views in all directions. Passo Giau is in an area that once marked the boundary between the Republic of Venice and the Austrian empire. We spend the evening in an absolutely charming berghotel recognized for both its superb cuisine and spectacular views. BLD
We drive to Passo Falzarego to capture the mountaintop views and explore the network of tunnels and trenches built over one hundred years ago during World War I. We visit and explore the area around the Fort Tre Sassi, built by the Austro-Hungarian forces in 1898 to protect the pass against invasion. Dinner and evening in San Cassiano. BD
The hiking routes near the Gardena Pass and the Sella group of peaks is some of the most famous in the Dolomites. You'll have a number of options and choice routes which return you to the valley in Corvara. Dinner and evening in San Cassiano. BD.
After a morning hike, you'll be transferred to your hotel at the Venice Marco Polo airport. Evening near the Marco Polo Airport. BD.

Alpenwild Adventures are designed for people who are energetic, active and filled with a spirit of adventure. We rate this trip as moderate. You should be a strong and experienced hiker in good physical condition. You should be capable of walking 5 to 8 hours per day on good trails, ascending up to 2,500 vertical feet per day, at an elevation up to 8,000 feet above sea level.
