Day 1 – Arrive Tschiertschen. Check into hotel

From the train station in Chur it's just a short 29-minute bus ride to the mountainside setting of Tschiertschen, where the hotel’s courtesy shuttle will meet you for the 2-minute ride to the Alpina Mountain Resort and Spa. You'll be in a superior room with a balcony overlooking the valley and the mountains. Perhaps you'll want to make your first visit to the spa and pool for a relaxing afternoon experience, or explore the village and take in the panoramic views. You’ll enjoy dinner in the hotel’s dining room tonight. D

Day 2 – Tschiertschen - Hike to Farur

After breakfast at the hotel, consider taking off for the hills above Tschiertschen for an ascent of the mountain slope and alpine meadows leading up to the hamlet of Farur. There is cheesemaking on the alp and a small restaurant where you can enjoy lunch before continuing the loop route which returns you to Tschiertschen for the evening. BD

Day 3 – Hike to Urdensee

A favorite hike in the area is a visit to Urdensee, a high glacial lake above Tschiertschen. It’s the perfect place to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the views. Return to the hotel for an afternoon of relaxation in the whirlpool, the sauna, or in the spa before dinner at the hotel. BD

Day 4 – Tschiertschen - Departure and onward travel

Following breakfast at the hotel, a little shopping for the traditional local foods from Tschiertschen in the village center, or even visit to the spa. Your included transportation will take you back to the airport or any destination within Switzerland. B
