Tim Harrop, UIMLA Certified International Mountain Leader

Tim has lived in the mountains of Wales UK for the past 25 years, during that time he has taken many people into the wilderness of Britain. Tim holds the 'Mountaineering Instructor Award' qualification, enabling him to teach both rock climbing and mountaineering and guide people walking. He is also an active member of the local Mountain Rescue Team.

 

Tim has travelled extensively throughout the world, spending time in Northern, Central and Southern America, and various parts of Africa and Asia. He has led groups into jungles, deserts, and mountains- regularly trekking in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, guiding charity walkers along the Great Wall of China and has summited Kilimanjaro more than 20 times.

 

Tim spends his winters in Chamonix, France and has recently been awarded his International Mountain Leader Award, enabling him to work throughout the year in the mountains of Europe.
