Carina grew up in the south of Germany, not far from the Austrian mountains—filling her days with skiing and snowboarding in the winter and exploring various mountain ranges on hut-to-hut treks in the summer. One she decided to expand her horizons, she found herself crossing Vietnam on a motorbike, climbing the highest mountain in Borneo and hiking in the wilderness of Alaska. The natural world and wild places are the most inspiring to Carina. After her studies in Geography and working as a Travel Agent, she made the leap to follow her passion and moved to Finland to become a certified Wilderness Guide and she hasn’t looked back. During the extreme winter she guides multiday skiing expeditions. But once the snow is gone, her passion takes her back to the mountains, to the dramatic fjords in Norway or the stunning scenery of the Alps.
