Exploring Croatia Walking Tour

What makes a perfect vacation?  Immersing yourself in the history, rich culture, and natural beauty of a country? Enjoying fine cuisine, superb wines, and candlelit dinners alfresco in traditional fishing villages? Exploring walled medieval hill towns, Roman ruins, sandy Mediterranean beaches—all with a small group of friends?  Then join us in Croatia where we check all the boxes for your perfect trip.

The mix you’re looking for

Croatia is the perfect mix of enrichment and relaxation. It’s the Mediterranean the way it used to be. Croatia seamlessly blends 2000 years of palatial magnificence with quaint and time-forgotten villages. You’ll discover the stunning beauty of national parks, Istrian vineyards, and a glistening Adriatic coastline.

Plitvice Lakes National Park

You’ll walk through the maze of 16 lakes that spill into each other with hundreds of waterfalls and rivulets. And rather than make a quick stop then drive away, you’ll spend the night in the national park within earshot of the flowing water.

Island hopping in the Adriatic

You’ll spend a full day on each of the most enchanting islands on the Dalmatian Coast. You start with fashionable Hvar, then on to Korčula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. The island of Mljet is a national park with placid salt lakes and an ancient monastery on an island within an island. Finally, you’ll enjoy Lopud, a car-free island with just 300 inhabitants—but home to over 14,000 at its peak of 17th-century power.

Discover Split and Dubrovnik

These popular Adriatic ports of call are walled cities preserving timeless treasures. Split encompasses the sprawling Palace of Diocletian—and you’ll stay the night at a luxury hotel within the palace. Dubrovnik regularly receives praise as the most beautiful medieval city in the world. You’ll stay within the walls of the old city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Istrian Peninsula

With vineyards, olive groves, walled hill towns, and Roman ruins, you could easily mistake Istria for Italy. You’ll stay in Motovun, the most charming of Istrian hill towns. A winery tour and hunting truffles are both a delectable delight and an unforgettable memory.
