Jason Day, UIMLA Certified International Mountain Leader

Jason grew up climbing the local crags of the South of England, and progressed to mountains, the Alps and the greater ranges. His first career was teaching high school geography, but this rapidly became outdoor pursuits focussed. He taught rock climbing, kayaking, archery and also outdoor first aid courses for instructors. He is a qualified International Mountain Leader and after twenty years working as a trek leader all over the world, in 2017, he moved to France with his wife Viv (also an IML), in order to focus on the Chamonix Mont Blanc area as their main base. He still leads in Nepal, India, Africa, and Norway, but the Alps have become his home. He loves to introduce people to this magnificent area.
