Joe Herger, Trip Leader

Joe grew up in a small village in the heart of the Swiss Alps, in the hometown of Switzerland’s legendary William Tell. It is his passion to guide guests from all over the world safely to his favorite spots and have them experience the beauty, culture, and food of these Alpine valleys and peaks.

From an early age he loved to hike and learned a lot about the mountains from his uncle, an experienced mountain leader. After studying Geography, Languages and Aviation at Geneva University,  many years of working for Swissair at Airports all over the World followed: Geneva, London, Zurich, Brisbane, and New York City, which became his second home--of course with summers spent in the Alps every year.

Joe guides full-time in the summers and loves being back in the Alps.
