Christoforos is a certified mountain leader by the nation of Greece. He's a certified outdoor activities facilitator and Wilderness First aid provider certified by ECSI (Emergency Care & Safety Institute).
Born in the mountains of west Greece, he was raised in the island of Crete since a young age, where he fell in love with the majesty of the Cretan Great Outdoors, the high peaks, wild gorges, and the stunningly beautiful Mediterranean beaches on Crete.
In addition to being a mountaineer, caver, and a mountain refuge manager in Crete, he has also led expeditions in countries such as Nepal and Kyrgistan. These outdoor experiences gave him the inspiration to leave his IT career behind and share his passion for activities and nature with Alpenwild guests.
