Marta Gil, UIMLA Certified International Mountain Leader

Marta was born and raised in a town in the Spanish Pyrenees called Benasque. She has been surrounded by mountains all her life. Skiing, hiking, and climbing have been her hobbies since she was little. Before working ski patrol during the winters in the Pyrenees, she spent summers in the French Alps. In 2015, She moved to Chamonix to pursue guiding groups in the area and surroundings.

Although she knows the Alps better than most, she loves rediscovering these magnificent places through the eyes of the people she leads. Helping others learn about the magnificent geology, ecology, and history of the Alps is a true passion.
