Rebecca Murray, UIMLA Certified International Mountain Leader

Rebecca grew up in the wilds of Scotland where she developed her taste and enthusiasm for outdoor adventure. Her childhood was spent trekking without paths or trails throughout the remote Scottish highlands, camping and staying in bothys (small derelict houses left over from the highland clearances) and climbing distant and lonely peaks. Those early experiences set Rebecca’s future career. She has worked in the outdoor guiding and personal development sector for the past 10 years. Guiding clients by foot and bike throughout various European and central Asian countries. Rebecca also works for charities aimed at helping people built self esteem and independence, using long outdoor expeditions in Scotland as a catalst for change.

Now Rebecca is now based in Chamonix, she has lived there for the past three years and loves the way of life. On her time off she can be found exploring rock faces and new places to ski, always searching for a new adventure. Rebecca is sociable, friendly and is looking forward to sharing her knowledge and passion for the outdoors with you on her next trip.
