Vivien Day, UIMLA Certified International Mountain Leader

Vivien grew up in the Shetland islands - a wild and woolly place – and it is here that her love of the great outdoors was born.  Despite qualifying as a Food Technologist and working for 22 years as a Technical Manager in the food manufacturing industry, her weekend fix of the mountains and the love of being outdoors finally won through and she is now a full time International Mountain Leader living in the French Alps with her husband Jason, who is also an IML.  She leads summer hikes and winter snowshoe walks in the Alps, has led school expeditions in Tanzania, Nepal and Eswatini and also delivers Outdoor First Aid courses.
