Day 1 – Arrive in Geneva | Transfer to Chamonix

Welcome to your alpine adventure! Upon arrival in Geneva, we’ll whisk you away to the charming town of Chamonix, one of the most iconic and picturesque destinations in the world. After checking in at our hotel, you’ll meet your fellow adventurers at 2:00 PM for a casual meet-and-greet. We’ll enjoy a short orientation and a brief excursion to soak in the stunning surroundings. The evening will culminate with a celebratory welcome dinner at a handpicked French restaurant, where we’ll bond over delicious food and shared excitement for the journey ahead. (D)

Day 2 – Chamonix to Les Contamines-Montjoie

Our first day of hiking is a breathtaking introduction to the Tour du Mont Blanc! We start with a scenic cable car ride up to Bellevue, 2,500 feet above the valley, where we’ll enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. From here, we descend past the thundering Bionnassay Glacier, crossing a suspension bridge that spans a deep glacial gorge—an awe-inspiring sight. We continue through the fragrant alpine meadows of Col de Tricot, where the slopes are dotted with vibrant alpine roses. After a well-earned lunch at a local favorite restaurant, we’ll head towards the peaceful hamlet of Les Contamines, before making our way to our chalet hotel, nestled in a serene, wooded setting. Enjoy a cozy evening of relaxation after our first full day of hiking. (BLD)

Day 3 – Les Contamines to Les Chapieux | Transfer to Bourg-Saint-Maurice

Today’s hike will take us through the beautiful Notre Dame de la Gorge, a 15th-century baroque chapel, and then along a Roman road—one that’s been traveled for centuries. The trail leads us through lush, forested paths and past waterfalls, before ascending to the Col du Bonhomme. From this high pass, we’re treated to panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. After a hearty lunch, we’ll descend into the charming hamlet of Les Chapieux and take a short transfer to the town of Bourg-Saint-Maurice, where we’ll settle into a welcoming hotel for the night. After a day of stunning sights, you’ll have the evening to relax and unwind. (BLD)

Day 4 – Ville des Glaciers to Courmayeur

Today, we cross into Italy! Starting near alpine farms that produce the famous Beaufort cheese, we’ll indulge in some for a delicious lunch during our hike. We’ll trek through the Col de la Signe, a high mountain pass that offers mesmerizing views of Mont Blanc’s southern face and the sparkling Miage Glacier. Our hike leads us into the Italian Val Veni, where the lush meadows and towering peaks provide an incredible backdrop. We’ll then make our way to the lively town of Courmayeur, where we’ll check into our hotel in the heart of this Italian alpine resort. Here, you can enjoy the relaxed elegance of this charming town and perhaps savor some delicious Italian cuisine. (BLD)

Day 5 – Rest Day in Courmayeur

After a few days of hiking, today is your time to relax and recharge. Courmayeur offers a variety of activities, whether you want to shop, explore the town, or simply unwind with a café latte and people-watch. But whatever you do, you won't want to miss joining the group as we take an unforgettable ride on the Skyway Monte Bianco, which ascends 2,000 meters in just 10 minutes, offering jaw-dropping views of glaciers and Mont Blanc’s towering spires. After this thrilling experience, you’ll have the afternoon free to discover more of Courmayeur at your own pace. Tonight, feel free to explore local dining options for a memorable evening out. (BL)

Day 6 – Courmayeur to Lavachey | Final Night in Courmayeur

Get ready for another stunning day as we traverse the Val Ferret, walking alongside crystal-clear streams and taking in the mesmerizing views of the Grandes Jorasses and the Brenva Glacier. The scenery here is simply breathtaking, with plenty of opportunities to snap photos and enjoy the serenity of this alpine paradise. After finishing our hike at the remote Chalet Val Ferret, we’ll shuttle back to Courmayeur for the evening. Enjoy a delicious dinner in town and unwind at the hotel as we prepare for the adventures still to come. (BLD)

Day 7 – Lavachey to Champex-Lac

We’ll begin with a short shuttle to the trailhead before setting out to conquer the Grand Col Ferret, a high mountain pass that marks the border between Italy and Switzerland. From here, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of Mont Dolent, the only peak in the Alps shared by three countries—Switzerland, France, and Italy. After the pass, we descend into the Swiss canton of Valais, passing through charming villages and walking along the river to La Fouly. From there, we’ll take a short transfer to the beautiful lakeside resort of Champex-Lac. This serene location offers the perfect place to relax and recharge, surrounded by mountain beauty. (BLD)

Day 8 – Champex-Lac to Trient | Transfer to Argentiere

This hike is all about panoramic views as we make our way over Alp Bovine, where we’ll be rewarded with stunning vistas of the Rhone Valley, the Bernese Alps, and the Dents du Midi. The descent leads us into the quaint village of Trient, known for its iconic pink church. After soaking in the village charm, we’ll transfer to our luxurious hotel in nearby Argentiere, where you can enjoy a relaxing evening, perhaps with a glass of wine as you reflect on the spectacular scenery we’ve experienced today. Day 9 – Trient to Argentiere

Get ready for one of the most scenic days of the tour! We’ll follow the historic smugglers’ route over the Col de Balme, where the Mont Blanc Massif will unfold before us in all its majesty. From the top, we’ll descend alongside the dramatic Trient Glacier and head to Le Tour, where we’ll take a transfer back to the charming village of Argentiere. Here, you’ll have time to relax and enjoy a night at a 4-star hotel, making this the perfect end to a day filled with stunning views and great camaraderie. (BLD)

Day 10 – Argentiere to Chamonix

On our final day of hiking, we take one last exhilarating trek along the Grand Balcon Sud, a trail renowned for its breathtaking vistas of Mont Blanc and its glaciers. As we make our way through this stunning landscape, we'll pause at the sparkling Lacs des Cheserys for a relaxing lunch with views that are nothing short of magical. Afterward, we’ll descend into Chamonix, where you’ll have the afternoon to unwind, shop for souvenirs, or simply take in the charming town before the evening’s grand finale.

Tonight, we’ll gather for a festive farewell dinner, celebrating the incredible journey we’ve shared. As we toast to new friendships, unforgettable landscapes, and personal accomplishments, you’ll have the chance to reflect on the bonds created over the past 10 days. This final meal will be a chance to indulge in delicious local specialties and enjoy each other's company one last time in the heart of the Alps. (BLD)

Day 11 – Depart Chamonix

It’s time to say goodbye to the mountains, but not the memories! After a final breakfast, we’ll transfer you back to Geneva for your flight home. Whether you’re continuing your travels or heading back to your everyday life, you’ll leave with a heart full of memories and the knowledge that you’ve shared a once-in-a-lifetime adventure with a group of incredible women.

Activity Level

We rate this trip as strenuous, with limited adaptability and vehicle support. You should be an experienced hiker in good physical condition. You should be capable of walking 6 to 8 hours per day on good trails, with some steep ascents and descents averaging 2,500 to 4,200 vertical feet per day at an elevation up to 9,000-10,000 feet above sea level. Trekking poles are highly recommended.
