Day 1 – Venice to Cortina d'Ampezzo

After arrival at Venice Marco Polo airport, a private shuttle takes you to your 4-star hotel in the heart of the Alpine resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo. After a short walk around Cortina’s pastures and forests with views down to the town, an introductory dinner in this beautiful mountain village will give you a preview of what the week holds in store. Day 2 – Tre Cime di Lavaredo

Today's excursion will take you on a circuit of the world famous, iconic Tre Cime di Lavaredo, one of the best-known group of peaks in the Alps with ultra-panoramic, ever changing views throughout. The evening will be spent in Cortina. BSD.

Day 3 – Fanes-Sennes-Braies Park

Today’s hike will be in the Sennes natural park through beautiful verdant mountain pastures with panoramic mountain views and stunning flowers in July. Be sure to pick up a souvenir in this cute village before heading out the next morning. BSD

Day 4 – Cortina to Passo di Giau

We climb through forests with pretty views to emerald Alpine lake Croda da Lago before continuing across a wide panoramic plateau to the open meadows of Passo Giau, dominated by the spectacular Nuvolau offering commanding views in all directions directly to our mountain refuge hotel. Passo Giau once marked the boundary between the Republic of Venice and the Austrian empire. We spend the evening in an absolutely charming Berghotel well-known for both its superb cuisine and spectacular views. BSD

Day 5 – Passo Falzarego to Val Badia

We drive to Passo Falzarego to capture the mountaintop views and explore its network of tunnels and trenches built over one hundred years ago during World War I, exploring the area around Fort Tre Sassi built by the Austro-Hungarian forces in 1898 to protect the pass against invasion before continuing to our Val Badia hotel near San Cassiano. Dinner and evening in San Cassiano. BSD

Day 6 – Gardena Pass, Corvara

The hiking routes near Gardena Pass and the Sella group of peaks are some of the most famous in the Dolomites with varied and ultra-panoramic 360 degree views of towers and pinnacles, pastures and forests. We have a number of options and choice routes to choose from. Dinner and evening in San Cassiano BSD

Day 7 – San Cassiano, return to Venice

A two hour drive takes us to the famous Valdobbiadene Prosecco sparkling wine region for a Prosecco tasting and a light lunch before continuing to our hotel near the Venice airport. Evening near Marco Polo Airport. BL
