We recommend flying into the Zurich Airport. We will provide you with a rail pass that can be used to get from Zurich to St Moritz, Switzerland for the start of the tour. The journey from the Zurich Airport to St. Moritz takes 3.5 hours.
Meet your group on Day 1 at 3:00 pm in the hotel lobby. After meeting your group, enjoy an orientation meeting, a short warm-up hike around Lake St. Moritz, and a welcome dinner.
This tour ends in Varenna, Italy (on Lake Como) on Day 10. Breakfast is included at your hotel before you continue your onward journey or depart for homebound flights.
Please note that we do not arrange or provide departure transportation (train tickets, transfers, etc.), but we are happy to offer recommendations for planning.
Guests may consider spending extra nights on Lake Como or heading to Milan, Lugano, or back to St. Moritz or Zurich.
The closest international airport for departure is the Milan Malpensa Airport.
If you are flying out of the Milan Malpensa Airport, please do not book flights before 11:00am. The journey from Varenna to Milan Malpensa is 2.5 hours by train, with 1 connection. The earliest train departs at 5:10am. Allow for 3 hours at the airport prior to your flight.
